Instructions for Authors The participants of the XXII SBMM are invited to send technical and scientific contributions regarding the themes of the symposia, in the form of oral presentations or panels. The process of submission of the manuscripts to be presented in the XXII SBMM is open until the 4th of August. The submission of the extended abstracts is done in English, one page for the text, and another page for pictures, according to the model below. Immediately after the closure of submissions, the summaries are electronically distributed to the members of the Scientific Commission, in accordance to their specialties and themes of works to be evaluated for correct format and scientific and technical quality. The reviewer can then either accept the work immediately, ask for clarifications and corrections, or suggest necessary changes in the theme area or even refuse the work in cases of serious technical and scientific inconsistencies, or if it is totally out of the scope of the Congress. The revision is then automatically sent to the researcher who submitted the work and, after the demands requested by the reviewer are met, the work is definitively accepted.
